Stephen Ray Moore

Mr. Stephen Ray "Doogie" Moore, age 52 of Scroggins, passed away on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, in Tyler. He was born on November 8, 1970, in Dallas, Texas to Thomas Moore and Darlene Gore Moore. He had been a resident of Scroggins for the past 12 years.

Doogie last worked for Double C Steak House in Winnsboro for Karen and Randy Cason who became like family. He was affiliated with Full Gospel Church.

He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Moore and brother, Christopher Moore.

Survivors include his mother, Darlene Moore of Scroggins; son, Cody Moore and wife Larissa of Clifton; sisters, Angie Moore and husband, Daniel Attaway of Scroggins; granddaughter, Eva Moore; ex wife, Penny Moore of Clifton; niece Cortney Franco and husband, Ramiro of Winnsboro and nephew, Colton Whitson of Winnsboro.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 23, 2023, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Beaty Funeral Home 816 W. Broadway Winnsboro, TX. Graveside Services will be held 9:30 am , June 24, 2023 at Sharon Cemetery with Bro. David Gore conducting and music by Dwight Drake. Pallbearers are Terry Busby, Jereme Moore, Jessie Ridgel, Justin Cason, Lynn Gore, Ramiro Franco.
