Steve Allen Spence

Steve Allen Spence, age 63, died Monday, April 15, 2013 in Mineola, Texas. He was born on Monday, March 20, 1950 in Burbank, California to Rodney and Joyce Spence.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce Spence; and a son, David Spence.

He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Patricia Spence; two sons, Douglas Spence and wife Kathleen of Bells, Texas and Jerry Looper of Boston, Massachusetts; three daughters, Donna Cortez and husband Jeremy of New Orleans, Louisiana, April Smith and husband Jeff of Arlington, Texas and Elizabeth Looper of Dallas, Texas; two brothers, Jerry Spence and wife Mary of Austin, Texas and Randall Spence and wife Brenda of Rendon, Texas; two sisters, Beverly Giddens and husband Clark of Sherman, Texas and Kathy Collins and husband Pete of North Richland Hills, Texas; thirteen grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service for Mr. Spence will be held at Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola, on Thursday, April 18, 2013 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Wes Willie officiating.
