Steven Wayne Lancaster

Steven Wayne Lancaster, 54, of Winnsboro, Texas was welcomed into heaven on May 13, 2020. Steven was born to the late Lloyd Lancaster, Sr. and Glenda Saxon Stover on August 6, 1965. When he was a young boy his family moved to Texas from California. Steven attended schools in Van and Winnsboro. He worked as a carpenter and as an auto mechanic. Steven loved animals and enjoyed riding horses, fishing and working up a sweat, growing vegetables in the garden. There was no question that Steven was a strong believer in the Lord Jesus Christ. He and Sonja had attended Elm Ridge Church in Como. Mr. Lancaster was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Lloyd "Rocky" Lancaster, Jr., David Lancaster and Keith Lancaster. Steven is survived by his wife Sonja Quinn Lancaster; son Staven Lancaster; daughter Morgan Hamm; sister Judy Wisener and husband John. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 26th at 10:00 a.m. in Shady Grove Cemetery Wood County.
