With a true servant's heart, she dedicated many years to caring for others as a Registered Nurse prior to moving to Mineola and becoming a home health nurse, touching countless lives with her compassion and gentle spirit. Her devotion to helping those in need was a reflection of the kindness that she extended to everyone she met.
A longtime and faithful member of Smith Chapel Global Methodist Church in Mineola, Sue found great joy in teaching Sunday school, sharing her faith and guiding generations with warmth and wisdom. Her love for her community was also evident through her years of service operating the Mineola Auction Barn, where she worked alongside her beloved husband and the auctioneer, Tommy Meshell.
Sue found happiness in life's simple pleasures. She delighted in tending to her garden, sewing with care, and watching hummingbirds flutter nearby. One of her favorite places was the Mineola Public Library, where she spent many peaceful hours. Above all, Sue treasured her family. She was the heart of her home, offering unwavering love, support, and encouragement. Her legacy lives on through the many lives she nurtured and the family she cherished beyond measure.
