Sybil Kate Corbitt

Mrs. Sybil K. Robison Corbitt, age 83, passed away Friday, December 22, 2006 in Tyler. She was born in Gilmer on October 2, 1923 to the late Jesse James and Annie Sansom Robison. She graduated from Union Hill High School, worked for Wilson Manufacturing in Winnsboro, and member of the 42 Club of Winnsboro. She was a member of the Hepsibah Baptist Church, where she was in the Seekers Sunday School Class, and served as Sunshine Chairman, and a prayer warrior. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, Donnell Robison. She is survived by her husband of 64 years Robert Clifford Corbitt of Scroggins; her daughter, Brenda Ann Shirley and her husband Ronny of Leesburg; son, Robert R. "Randy" Corbitt and his wife Melinda of Leesburg; one brother, Billy Robison and his wife Judy of Gilmer; seven grandchildren, and eight grandchildren.
