Syble Faye Stephens

Mrs. Syble Faye Stephens, age 84 of Winnsboro, passed away on October 31, 2011. She was born in the Cartwright Community of Wood County on June 11, 1927 to the late Henry Edgar and Ida Ellen Busby Hass. She was a homemaker and charter member of Cross Roads Baptist Church, as well as a 50 year member of the Eastern Stars. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Stephens; brothers, Buster and Birchel Hass; sisters, Sally Hass, Lois Hass Russom, and Donnie Hass Carpenter. She is survived by three sons, Larry Stephens and wife Jody of Winnsboro, Rickey Stephens and wife Snuckie of Winnsboro, Terry Stephens and wife Maxanna of Elysian Fields; brother, Alton Hass and wife Annette of Flint; sister, Pearl Dean of Winnsboro; eight granchildren, and nineteen great-grandchildren.
