Sylvia Ann Sims, age 71, died Tuesday, November 15, 2011 in Tyler, Texas. She was born on Saturday, April 27, 1940 in Mineola, Texas to the late Leon and Winnie Winn. She was an LVN for 22 years and worked at Sunny Springs Nursing Home.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Luther Sims.
She is survived by a son, Jim Turner and wife Vicky of Meridian, Texas; a daughter, Karen Lawson of Mineola; a sister Linda Davis of Mineola; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation for Ms. Sims will be held at Beaty Funeral Home on Thursday, November 17, 2011 from 6 - 8 PM.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 18, 2011 at Beaty Funeral Home Memorial Chapel at 2:00 PM with Rev. Fred Morrow officiating
