Tacy Peters

Mrs. Peters died Feb. 27, 2008, in Granbury. She was born March 15, 1912, in Providence community, Smith County, to the late James Allen and Una Marcus Brooks Bruner. She graduated from Mineola High School and was a homemaker and a longtime resident of Mineola and member of First Baptist Church, Mineola. She was a member of Order of Eastern Star in Mineola and Railroad Ladies Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph E. Peters. Survivors include sons, James Oliver "Husky" Peters, Travis Leonard "Poochie" Peters and Joe Ed Peters Jr.; six grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.
