Tara (Joey) Boyd was born on July 20, 1960 in Alexandria VA to Joe Dan and Barbara Evers Boyd. She passed away August 25, 2012 in Palm Springs CA at the age of 52. She is survived by daughter Sunshine Prior of Wellington, New Zealand, mother Barbara Boyd of Plano TX, father Joe Dan Boyd of Winnsboro TX, and brothers Colin Boyd of Dallas TX and Logan Boyd of Plano TX. She was a teacher and writer.
