Thelma Alene Belcher, age 81, died Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at her home in Alba, Texas. She was born on Friday, January 18th, 1929 in Burnsville, Mississippi to the late Jesse James and Lettie Osborn. She was a member of the Eastern Star and a Sunday school teacher at Sand Springs Missionary Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Christopher Leon Belcher; her son, Kenneth Leon Belcher; and a sister, Jewel Graham.
She is survived by three daughters, Carolyn Wooldridge, Margie Harris, Mary Estoll; two sisters, Idell Lambert, Jan Davis; eight grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
