Thomas Edward Albright

Thomas Edward Albright Jr., 83, of Mineola, TX passed away on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 in Tyler, TX. He was born on Wednesday, November 4, 1931 in Dallas, TX to the late Thomas Edward Sr. and Louise Albright.

Thomas attended UT Arlington and the University of Houston. He served in the U.S. Navy aboard the Hospital Ship Reopse during the Korean War.

He was a huge Longhorn and Texans fan.

Thomas is preceded in death by his wife Dixie Albright.

He is survived by his daughters; Donna Colbert and husband Ricky of Winnsboro, TX, Susie Smith of Atlanta, GA; sister, Ann Searcy and husband Art of Winnsboro, TX; five grandchildren, Jessica Cockrell and husband Lance of Lindale, TX, Jennifer Colbert of Gilmer, TX, Jamie Underwood and husband John of Portsmith, VA, Laura Tucker and husband Aaron of Jacksonville, FL, Brittany Smith and husband Mike of Decatur, GA; fourteen great grandchildren, Kelsi Colbert, Corey Rhymes, Taylor Colbert, Michael Colbert, McKenzie Colbert, Connor Cockrell, Nathan Cockrell, Evan Cockrell, Emery Cockrell, Jacob Underwood, Aiden Underwood, Jenna Underwood, Colton Tucker and Jake Tucker and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2015 from 3:00 PM at Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola, TX.
