Thomas Madison Bedwell

Thomas Madison Bedwell, 77, of Mineola, TX passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2015 in Tyler, TX. He was born on Wednesday, November 17, 1937 in Vigo County, IN to the late James Wesley and Vivian Syvilla Bedwell.

Thomas was a member of the Northside Baptist Church in Mineola. He graduated from West Terre Haute High School. Thomas worked for Texas Instruments for seventeen and half years and also worked for Fred Oakley Motors Chrysler for fourteen years.

He was preceded in death by one son; Timothy Clayton Bedwell and one brother.

He is survived by his wife of fifty two years; Betty Bedwell of Mineola, TX; son, Thomas Madison Bedwell, Jr. and wife Laura Kay from Temple, TX; daughter, Tammie Jo Jacob and husband Kelly of Mabank, TX; daughter in law, Dorene Bedwell; brother, Lloyd Victor Rickard and wife Gloria of Kerns, TX; two sisters, Sylilla Breedlove and husband Bill of Wilmer, TX, Elizabeth Ann (Penny) Rhoads and husband Charles from Philpot, KY; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Beaty Funeral Home on Thursday, March 19, 2015 from 6-8 PM. Funeral service will be held at Beaty Funeral Home on Friday, March 20, 2015 at 2:00 PM officiated by Bro. Joe Adams. Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery in Mineola, TX.
