Thomas Dale Burges

Mr. Thomas "Tom" Dale Burges, age 69 of Winnsboro, passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2015 in a Tyler hospital. Tom was born on September 8, 1946 in Glendale, CA. to the late Buster and Patricia Burges. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving honorably during the Vietnam War. He was a retired truck driver, a Christian and a classic car enthusiast. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Perry Burges; sister, Dita Burges; and son, Troy Burges. He is survived by his loving wife Carol Ann (Coulter) Burges of Winnsboro; son, Tom W. Burges and wife Jaime of Glendale, AZ; step-son Rodney Ogden of Colorado; step-daughter, Julia Grissom and husband Michael Bratton of Tacoma, WA.; sister, Cathey Burges of Kentucky; grandchildren, Andrew and Lorena Burges, Ian Mingeras, Marley Boggess, and Jason Bratton. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at 10 AM at Beaty Funeral Home of Winnsboro.
