Thomas Dwayne Cobb

April 19, 1944 — November 27, 2014

Mr. Thomas Dwayne Cobb, better known as, “Tommy”, of Tampa, Fl, formerly of Winnsboro, Texas, passed away at his home on Thanksgiving Day, November 27th. He went to be with Jesus with his family by his side. Tommy was born in Winnsboro, Texas, on April 19, 1944, to the late J.P. and Ivha Mae Greer Cobb. During his time in Texas, he was a Dairy Farmer, a Welder, He had a commercial Hay Baling Business, and He was contracted to Amerada Hess as a Sand Blaster and Painter for several years. In July, 1997, he was given the opportunity to relocate to Tampa, Fl, to run the truck division for the local Team Worldwide office. After a successful 17 years running the trucks and warehouse for Team, he finally retired in January, 2014, to fight his battle with cancer.

Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, and 1 brother, James Cobb. He is survived by his Loving wife of 49 years, Mrs. Nelda Sue (Sims) Cobb of Tampa, Fl; 1 Son, Jason Cobb and wife, Melinda, of Como, Tex, and 3 daughters, Cindy McAdoo and husband, Pat, of Haughton, La., Kristi Hubbell and husband, David, of Tampa, Fl., and Holli Cobb and husband, Jay Roundtree, of Tampa, Fl., 1 brother Bobby Cobb and wife, Alice, of Irving, Tex., 2 sisters, Betty Eades, of Garland, Tex, and Cheryl Cobb of Beaumont, Tex.; inlaws, Roy and Modene Sims, of Sulphur Springs, Tex.; 10 Grandchildren: Lucas and Molly McAdoo, Kaci and Lance Bass, Jacob, Bailee and TJ Hubbell, Christa Woods, Myka Bryant, Cameron Brown and Quest Roundtree; 4 Great-Grandchildren: Caden, Ben, Harley and Paislee Bass. He is also survived by numerous Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.

Tommy’s happiest moments were when he was with his Grandchildren and his Great-

Grands. THEY WERE HIS LIFE!!

Services are scheduled for Saturday, December 6th, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Beaty Funeral Home in Winnsboro, Texas, visitation will begin two hours prior at 12:00 pm, and interment will follow at Black Oak Cemetery, Hopkins County, TX.

Jacob Hubbell, TJ Hubbell, Lance Bass, Lucas McAdoo, Cameron Brown, Quest Roundtree, Geoff Eades and Barry (Rusty) Butts will serve as pallbearers.

Reverend Dan Hubbell will officiate.
