Thomas James Corbitt

Mr. Thomas James "Jim" Corbitt went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 18, 2014 at the age of 83. He was born on July 5, 1931 to the late T.J. Corbitt and Anne Elizabeth Harris Corbitt. Mr. Corbitt was retired from the U.S. Army and was a member of First Baptist Church in Winnsboro. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Cheryl Corbitt and one sister, Joanna Wilson. Survivors include his wife of sixty-three years, Mrs. Vi Corbitt of Winnsboro; son, Jim Corbitt and wife Tessie of Keller; daughters, Debbie Jared of Winnsboro, and Judy Ray and Husband Matt of Mineola; brothers, George Corbitt of Riverside, CA, Don Corbitt of Booneville, AR, and Dean Corbitt of Dallas; sister, Jane Coffey of Calhoune, GA; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
