Thomas Edwin Henry, 86, of Mineola, TX passed away on Sunday, April 12, 2015 in Tyler, TX. He was born on Friday, July 20, 1928 in Mineola, TX to the late Lee Summerfield and Bernardine Henry.

Thomas was a member of Smith Chapel United Methodist Church in Mineola, TX.

He is survived by his spouse, Ruth Hammond of Mineola, TX; son, Johnny Henry of Dallas, TX; step son, Joe Hammond Jr. of Mineola, TX; daughter, Suzanne Boshell of Dallas, TX; two step daughters, Melissa Workman of Hawkins, TX, Jennifer Henson of Mineola, TX and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Beaty Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 from 6-8 PM. Funeral service will be held at Beaty Funeral Home on Thursday, April 16, 2015 at 2:00 PM officiated by Rev. Jim Pickens. Interment will follow at Cedars Memorial Gardens in Mineola, TX.
