Thomas Carroll Prince Thomas Carroll Prince joined his Heavenly Father on December 7, 2020. Thomas was born on August 15, 1951 in El Dorado, Arkansas to Paul Devon Prince and Jean Johnson Prince. In his younger years he lived in Emerson, Arkansas (51-58); Heflin, Louisiana (58-59); Minden, Louisiana (60-61); Heflin, Louisiana (61-67); Waskom, Texas (67-68); Mineola, Texas (68-71); Deer Park, Texas (71-2011); and lastly Mineola, Texas (2011-2020) He graduated from Mineola High School in 1969, Graduated Tyler Junior College in 1971 and worked for Shell Chemical Company & Shell Oil Company from 1971 to 2011. He completed his Machinist training at Baytown Lee College 1981-1983. Tom retired from Shell and returned to Mineola in 2011. Thomas played on an adult softball league in the 80’s & 90’s, played golf since birth (or shortly thereafter) and took up bowling later on in life where he currently played on a Seniors League and also a Travel League. The highlight of his bowling years was not only fellowship with his closest friends but also bowling two perfect games of 300 within 6 months of each other. Thomas loved the Lord and it radiated from him each day by his word, actions and the way he treated others. His Church Membership is at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church. He enjoyed many things in life, and lived each day to it’s fullest. His greatest accomplishments and greatest joy in life was his beautiful wife and family. He is survived by: His loving wife of almost 30 years, Sandy Prince; Daughter, Meredith Prince; Son, Preston May; Daughter-in-love, Beth May; Daughter, Dawn Goldthorn; Son-in-love, Mark Wolf; Brother-in-love, Emmett Powers; Sister-in-love, Ruth McDougald; Sister-in-love, Angelika Powers; Brother-in-love, Dewey Powers (Janet); Sister-in-love, Sherry Brogdon (Don); Brother, Jay McCallum (Deanna); Brother, Art McCallum (Sharlet); Sister, Kathy McCallum Spears (Jack); Grandchildren: Patrick Prince, Caitlyn Wolf, Gabrielle Wolf, Dakota Lewis, John Goldthorn, Trace Goldthorn (Zoey), Apo Carpio, Jimmy Alexander (Karina) & Annelyn Wilson (Chris). Great Grandchildren: Estilyn Alexander, Esme Alexander, Ryker Wilson & Rowan Wilson Thomas is also survived by numerous Nieces, Nephews, Uncles, Aunts, Cousins and his dear friend and bowling partner, Jim Beard, who he liked to call his “brother from another mother and father”. Thomas was preceded in death by his Father, Paul D. Prince; Mother, Jean Prince McCallum; Father, Chester A. McCallum, Jr.; Brother, Randy Prince; Brother’s in- love, Jerry Powers, Danny Powers, Andy Powers and Sister-in-love, Shirley Ann Powers. Pall bearers: Meredith Prince, Patrick Prince, Bryce Strange, Jim Beard, Mark Wolf & Dawn Goldthorn.
