Thomas Edwin Tarpley

Thomas Edwin Tarpley, Jr., age 56, of Tyler, Texas, died Sunday, May 25, 2008, at his residence in Tyler, Texas. Mr. Tarpley was a member of Woodmen Of The World and the Hawkins Volunteer Fire Department. He is survived by his wife Nellie Tarpley; three daughters, Christi Dyess of Quinlan, Texas, Debbie Humphries of Terrell, Texas, Monica Tarpley of Lufkin, Texas; three sons, William Lamb of Hawkins, Texas, Doyle Lamb of Red Springs, Texas, Walter Daniel Lamb of Tulsa, Okla.;two sisters, one brother, ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Arrangements are being handled by Beaty Funeral Home in Hawkins, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, May 27, 2008. Funeral service will be at Beaty Funeral Home Chapel in Hawkins at 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 28, 2008, with Rev. Charles Long officiating. Interment will be at Liberty Cemetery in Hawkins.
