Tommie Roberts

Devoted wife and Loving mother Tommie Faye Roberts passed away peacefully on December 1, 2019. She was born June 7, 1934 in Franklin County, Texas to Joe Mack and Essie Lee Connelly. She was a lifelong resident of Winnsboro and a member of Walnut Street Baptist Church. She married Elbert E. (Pee Wee) Roberts who she met in the heart of downtown Winnsboro. She was a housewife and co-owner of Roberts Auto Parts with her husband for 40 years. Tommie loved to travel and spend time with her grandchildren. She was also an avid birdwatcher who loved her pets. She is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her brothers Billy Connelly, Joe Mack (J.M.) Connelly, Jr. and his wife Bobbie Sue Glasco Connelly. She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-laws; Joe Dan (J.D.) and Joanie Roberts of Longview; Jerry and Mary Roberts of Frisco; daughter and son-law Hazel and Stephen Spillers of Tyler; four grandchildren Sergio, Sherie, Krista and Shannon plus five great grandchildren (aged 18 months to 16 years) and a number of nieces and nephews.
