Tommy Carrol Brown, 77, of Winnsboro, Texas, passed away on February 23, 2025. He was born on March 9, 1947, in Sulphur Springs, Texas, to Elmer Ottis Brown and Bobbie Nell Attaway Brown.
Tommy grew up in Pickton, Texas, and graduated from Winnsboro High School. He furthered his education at Kilgore College. He proudly served his country in the Army as a helicopter mechanic during the Vietnam War.
On November 4, 1967, Tommy married the love of his life, Kathy Jo Brewer Brown. After his military service, he dedicated many years to dairy farming.
Tommy was a man of simple pleasures. He enjoyed the outdoors, particularly squirrel, coon, and deer hunting. He was a Methodist by faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, EO Brown and Bobbie Nell Brown, and his brother, Tony Brown.
Tommy is survived by his beloved wife, Kathy Brown; his sons and daughters-in-law, Jim and Monika Brown, Tim and Misti Brown, and Randy and Gereta Brown; his grandchildren, Britney and Nathan Bullock, Shelby and River Hall, Timber, Sage, and Rance Brown, Cole and Samantha Denney, and Kolby Brown; his great-grandchildren, Ruby and Sunny Jo Bullock, Remi and Mack Hall, Emersyn, Evelyn, Cross, and Maverick Denney; his sister, Sharlet and Dudley Lovelady; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pleasant Grove Memorial Park in Tommy’s memory.
