Tommy Robertson

Tommy L. Robertson, 74, passed peacefully at home in Mineola, TX. on August 12, 2022.
Tommy is survived by his wife of 31 years Debra, son Derl and wife Amanda of
Flower Mound, TX, 6 grandchildren, 2 sisters and brothers in law, 4 nieces, 2 nephews
and 1 great niece and 1 great nephew.
Tommy was preceded in death by stepson Jason Sharpe.
Tommy was a veteran of the Navy, served in the Vietnam War from 1965 to 1969. Tommy
was a Purple Heart recipient for his service and was Honorably Discharged as a EM2 Engineer.
He enjoyed and excelled in Engineering learned in the Military and worked in that profession for
many years before retiring for the first time. After retirement Tommy and Debra had their own Private
Investigation Service in Florida until they finally retired and returned to Texas.
Tommy enjoyed traveling and making friends around the world for both work and pleasure.
He took his wife Debra to see the world with him. He enjoyed scuba diving all over the world, Sailing,
Cart Racing and NASCAR.
Tommy will be laid to rest at a private service in the family cemetery in Fort Towson, OK.
A celebration of Tommy’s life will be Saturday, August 27th in Grand Prairie, TX from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m.
