Tressie True

Tressie Beatrice True, 85, of Katy, Texas passed away on Monday, August 16, 2021 in Mineola, Texas. She was born on March 4, 1936 to the late Ralph and Emma Bowden. Ms. True enjoyed sewing, gardening and spending time with her family and cats. She is preceded in death by her husband, Dickey True; brother, Charlie Bowden. She is survived by son, Dowell True of Katy, Texas; daughter, Venetia Stanley and husband Kevin of Mineola, Texas; sisters, Trudy Hollingsworth of Arizona, Maxine Rhodes and husband Bill of Mineola, Texas, Nadine Salazar and husband Ken of Winnsboro, Texas; four grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; one great great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews. Honorary pallbearers are Kevin Grzenia, Brent Wells, Dowell True Jr, David Deleon. Visitation will be on Friday, August 20, 2021 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola, Texas. Graveside service will be on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at 2 p.m.
