Vaudine Riggs French

Mrs. Vaudine Riggs French, age 98 of Winnsboro, passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2011. She was born in the Grice Community in Upshur County on August 26, 1913 to the late Arthur and Dora Finney Riggs. She was a retired restaurant worker, and attended Coldwater Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Everett French; infant son, Charles Lee French; sisters, Aline Thompson, Ludine Smith; brother, Raymond Riggs; and six infant siblings. She is survived by her daughters, Ella Jordan and husband Jerry of Winnsboro, Nettie Denton of Garland; grandchildren, Mack Jordan, Michael Denton, Missy Denton; great-grandchildren, Jessica Stephens, Cody Jordan, Justin James, Lexie James; and one great-great-grandchild, Elijah Ray James; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
