Velma L. Lindley

Velma L. Lindley, age 92 of Winnsboro, passed away on Saturday, February 12, 2011 in Winnsboro. She was born on September 25, 1918 to the late James E. and Dovie Riley Vaughn. She was a home and nursing home caregiver for many years, and was a pentecostal. She was predceded in death by two husbands, W.E. Miller, Sr. in 1945 and Guy Lindley in 1954; also preceding her was a son, Charlie Miller; and five brothers, and four sisters. She is survived by a son, Wesley Miller, Jr. and wife Yolanda of Winnsboro; two daughters, Amy Brady and husband Mel of Hawkins, Lou Green and husband Melvin of Waxahachie; fourteen grandchildren, multiple great and great great grandchildren, and a 5th generation grandmother to several.
