Vera Dorothy Henington

Mrs. Vera Henington of Mineola, Texas passed away February 12, 2008 at the age of 95. She was born April 9, 1912 to the late Carson and Nonnie Brittain in Jacksonville, Texas. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and a 50 year member of the Eastern Star. She is preceded in death by first husband, Floyd Mims in 1947, second husband, Charles Henington in 1994, brother, Edgar Brittain, sisters, Veta Moody, Mary O'Conner and Louise Inman and granddaughter, Lynda Scott. She is survived by one son, Gary Mims and wife Lynn of Siera Vista, AZ; daughters, Barbara Lewis of Tyler, TX and Ruth Scott of Abilene, TX; seven grandchildren, Tim Brittain, Mark Brittain, Doug Brittain, David Mims, John Mims, Charles Mims and Tamara Kinyon; eleven great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
