Vicki Romero

Vicki Romero, 25, of Winnsboro, Texas, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on February 8, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on September 4, 1999, in Sulphur Springs, Texas, to Elpidio and Gloria Murillo. Even throughout her illness, Vicki's positive spirit shone brightly, and she always greeted the world with a smile.

Vicki graduated from Como-Pickton High School in 2018, where she was a member of the National Honor Society, a friend to many and loved by all who knew her. She cherished spending time with her family, enjoyed cooking, and loved going on hikes with her husband and daughter. Vicki married Eduardo Romero on January 11, 2019, and they welcomed their beautiful daughter, Roxanna Lizbeth, on April 11, 2022.

Vicki leaves behind to cherish her memory her devoted husband, Eduardo Romero; her beloved daughter, Roxanna Lizbeth; her parents, Elpidio and Gloria Murillo; and a host of other family and friends who will miss her dearly.

A rosary will be held at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at Beaty Funeral Home in Winnsboro, Texas. Funeral Mass will be held at 12:00 PM on Thursday, February 13, 2025, also at Beaty Funeral Home in Winnsboro.
