Virgil C. Blalock

Virgil C. Blalock, age 85, of Quitman, Texas, passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2008, in Tyler, Texas. He was born October 10, 1922 to the late George and Elsie (Ramey) Blalock in Quitman. He was a retired Auditor for Wood County and a member of the Myrtle Springs Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon. He is survived by his wife Bonnie F. Blalock of Quitman; four sons, Johnny A. Blalock and wife Janice of Quitman, Jerry M. Blalock and wife Jackie of Quitman, Duke W. Hampton and wife Sara of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Billy Don Hampton and wife Jackie of Lubbock; one sister, Syble Robertson of Lindale; seven grandchildren

and nine great-grandchildren.
