Virginia Folmar

Virginia Folmar, 94, of Winnsboro, Texas, joined the faithful in Heaven on November 21, 2021. Mrs. Folmar was born on May 26, 1927, to John and Myrtle (Maloney) Fielden. She grew up in the country and loved it with all her heart. Virginia was a longtime member of Smyrna Baptist Church. Mrs. Folmar was a member of the Winnsboro Rebekah Lodge #71 for over 45 years. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Noah Folmar, Jr.; son Bob Folmar; brothers Loy, Raymond, and Cloyse Fielden; sisters Hughlene Bullington and Nelda Beard. Mrs. Folmar is survived by her son Roger Folmar and wife Christine; daughter Sandy Folmar Taylor; grandchildren Scott Hansen and wife Jo Elda, Lane Montgomery and husband Michael, Wesley Folmar, Janice Gray and husband Tom, Tracy Rimpell and wife Joy, Stuart Folmar and wife Janessa, Tasha Morgan and husband Brandon, Gaylon Folmar; 19 great-grandchildren; 1 great-grandchildren. A legacy any woman who be proud to claim. Family and friends will gather under the pavilion at Smyrna Cemetery for a time of visitation on Saturday, November 27th from 1:30 to 2:00 p.m. with the service to immediately follow at 2:00 p.m.
