Virginia Lee Hand

Virginia Lee Henson Hand, age 78 of Winnsboro, passed away on Monday, April 18, 2022 in Tyler. She was born on August 2, 1943 in Upshur County, Texas to the late Floyd Jack Henson and Imogene Pinson Henson.
Virginia was a retired nail tech and spent over 20 years as a dairy farmer. She was saved as young girl by Jesus and was baptized later in life. She loved traveling and spending time with friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Kevin Hand and brothers, Robert and Roy Henson.
She is survived by her daughter, Gina Gibson and husband, Mike of Winnsboro; brothers, James Henson and wife, Cindy, Ricky Henson and wife, Denise, Damon Henson and wife, Kim all of Winnsboro; sisters, Gloria Stringer and husband, Carlton and Lisa Spence and husband, Chris both of Winnsboro; three grandchildren, Mitch Gibson and his wife, Misty, Kandice Hand and Jace Gibson; three great grandchildren, Emma Hand, Caroline Gibson and Cheyenne Gibson along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm at Beaty Funeral Home 816 W. Broadway Winnsboro, TX. Funeral Services will be held 10:00 am on Thursday, April 21, 2022 at Beaty Funeral Home with Rev. Pam Burton conducting. Interment will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery in Winnsboro, with Mike Gibson, Mitch Gibson, Jace Gibson, Carlton Stringer, James Smit, Chris Dickens serving as pallbearers.
