Vivian Margaret Smith

Vivian Margaret Smith, age 94, died Tuesday, September 24, 2013 in Mineola, Texas. She was born on Friday, March 21, 1919 in Bennington, Oklahoma to the late Henry Clay and Laura May Holloway.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Carrington Smith; a sister, Eunice Yandell; brothers, Lester Holloway, Roland Holloway, Gene Holloway, H. C. Holloway, Clem Holloway. She was a member of the First Assembly of God church in Tioga, TX.

She is survived by two sons, Elwood Smith and wife Barbara of Mineola, Texas, Gary Smith of Tioga: a daughter, Joyce Windsor and husband Jimmy of Winnsboro, Texas; five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren.

Visitation for Ms. Smith will be held on Thursday, September 26, 2013 at Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola, Texas from 6 – 8 PM.

Funeral services will be held at Beaty Funeral Home, Mineola on Friday, September 27, 2013 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Ken Otwell officiating.

Graveside service is scheduled for 2:30 PM, Friday, September 27 at Tioga Cemetery in Tioga, TX.
