Mrs. Vivian Claudette Smith, 79, of Winnsboro, Texas, formerly of Henderson, Texas, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 11, 2015. She was born to the late Claude E. Corley and Nonnie Morrow Corley, on March 16,1935, in Epps, Louisiana. She married Mr. Albert G. Smith on January 14,1956. Vivian was an active member, and loved her church families at Willow Springs Presbyterian Church in Pine Hill, Texas, and Pine Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Winnsboro, Texas. Vivian found pride in being a member of the TOPS/KOPS clubs for many years. She also loved watching her grandchildren's activities, bird-watching, trips to Branson, Missouri, gospel music, camping, and fishing. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, C. E. Corley, and two infant grandsons, Jeffery Lynn and Timothy James. Vivian is survived by her husband of 59 years, daughter Donna McNevin and husband, Brian, of Pilot Point, Texas, daughter Tami Barnard and husband, Billy, of Longview, Texas, and daughter Melanie Parton and husband, Scott, of Winnsboro, Texas. She is survived by her grandchildren, Lori Cordell and husband, Tim, Courtney LaRue and husband Keith, Jakob Parton and wife Shannon, Jilian Parton, Terry Barnard and Ana, Nick Parton, Erica Barnard, and great-grandchildren, Bailey and Peyton Cordell, Braxyn Parton, Alessandra LaRue, and Aurora Barnard, sister-in-law Mildred Corley, niece and nephew, Cindy Moore and Keith Bradley Corley, and their families. Survivors also include Tami Minger and her daughter Hailey, God-sent caregivers and friends.
