Walter Holman Raney
June 29, 1948 — January 5, 2015
Walter Holman Raney Jr. affectionately know as “Waddy” was born on June 29, 1948 in Ranger, TX. He died January 5, 2015 in Emory, TX.
Waddy was known for his love of fishing in and around the waters of Freeport. He spent many hours catching fish, shrimp, and oysters, which he generously shared with others.
He is proceeded in death by his parents Walter Sr. and Wilma Raney.
He is survived by his brothers Tim and Donald Raney; nephews, Greg and Jeff Raney; Aunt Geraldine (Totsy) Lewis; uncles, Charles Brinkley and Donald Brinkley as well as numerous cousins.
Funeral service will be held at Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola, TX on Thursday, January 8, 2015 at 10:00 AM.
