Wanda Lynn Ferguson

Mrs. Wanda Ferguson, age 79 of Mt. Vernon, passed away on Monday, January 25th, 2016 in Mt. Vernon. She was born on September 13th, 1936 in Franklin County to the late R. Leon Newsome and Vivian Ayers Newsome. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by sons, Rickey Ferguson and wife Paula, Jerry Ferguson and wife Jennifer, Steve Ferguson; brothers, James Newsome, Reg Newsome; sisters, Sarah Mauldin, Gwen Brothers; eight grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 28th, 2016 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Beaty Funeral Home-Winnsboro 816 W. Broadway Winnsboro, TX 75494. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, January 28th, 2016 atBeaty Funeral Home 816 W. Broadway Winnsboro, TX 75494 at 2:00 pm, Bro. David Henry conducting, interment will follow at Bethel Cemetery in Scroggins, with Michael Douglas, Billy Douglas, Aaron Zsiga, Alex Ferguson, Keith Mauldin, Jeff Mauldin serving as pallbearers.
