Wanda J. Garrett

Wanda June Garrett, 92, of Mineola, Texas, left this earth to be with her Heavenly Father on January 20, 2023.

She was born in Alba, Texas to P.L. and Oma Osborn on August 18, 1930. She is preceded in death by her parents, and daughter, Cheryl Ann.

She is survived by her husband of 72 years, Johnnie Garrett, her son Gary (Paula), her granddaughters Jennifer Kloubec (Dave), Stephanie Towles (Jeff), and her great grandsons Caleb, Luke, DeShaun, Benjamin, Andrew and Jacob, plus numerous nieces and nephews.

Wanda was a faithful Sunday school teacher for more than 40 years and especially loved her Sunday school class at First Baptist Church in Mineola.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who has prayed for and loved on Wanda during this difficult time. We would like to thank Enhabit Hospice for the care they provided and especially to Jamie, Kathey and Marisela for the extraordinary care and love they gave to her.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Beaty Funeral Home 5320 S. State Hwy. 37 Mineola, TX. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 pm at the funeral home with Dr. Mark Neeley conducting.

Interment will be at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Mineola, with Dave Klaubec, Jeff Towles, Caleb Kloubec, Luke Kloubec, DeShawn Kloubec, and A.B. Jennings serving as pallbearers.
