Wanda W. Secrest

Wanda W. Birdsong Secrest, age of Winnsboro, passed away on Thursday, September 6, 2012 in Mc Kinney. She was born a triplet on May 14, 1926 in Dike, Texas to the late Chester and Callie Connelly Birdsong. She was a child care worker, a graduate of Mt. Vernon High School, and a Baptist. She was preceded in death by by triplet brothers, Wayne W. and James L. Birdsong; sister, Doris Birdsong Russell; and son, Gregg Secrest. She is survived by her husband, John Secrest of San Diego, CA.; sons, John Mark Secrest of San Diego, Barry Secrest of Mc Kinney; daughter, June Secrest of Mc Kinney; sisters, Jo Bagby of Winnsboro, Betty Richardson of Canton; eight grandchildren, Sandy, Laura, John, David, Joe, Hayden, Stephen, and Paul; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
