Wanda J. Sides

Mrs. Wanda J. Sides went to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 25, 2011 at the age of 82. She was born on August 11, 1929 to the late Ira J. Kay, Sr. and Eunie Mae Tolar Kay. Mrs. Sides married Mr. Paul W. Sides on December 12, 1946 and he preceded her in death on February 18, 2010. She was a former member of the First Baptist Church in Sulphur Springs, and currently was a member of the Pine Street Baptist Church in Winnsboro. Mrs. Sides was the owner of Fashion Fabrics, was a Mary Kay Director and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Crafters Club and the Fidelis Sunday School Class at Pine Street Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; three sisters and one brother. Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Don and Kathy Sides of Sulphur Springs and J. Paul and Ann Sides of Greenville; daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Wilburn Hettich of Winnsboro; brother, Bill Kay of Dallas; sister, Faye "Pug" Rhoades of Winnsboro; six grandchildren, Kristi Wondra, Kelli Alexander, Jody Hettich, Buster Sides, J. Scott Hettich and Lauren Moore; and by twelve great grandchildren.
