Wayne Robert Turk

Wayne Robert Turk, age 72, died Tuesday, January 24, 2012 in Longview, Texas. He was born on Saturday, July 1, 1939 in Mineola, Texas to the late Donald and Ella Turk. He was a refrigeration mechanic and served in the National Guard.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and a son, Jeffrey Turk.

He is survived by his wife Linda Turk of Longview; two daughters, Donna Hayes and husband David of Longview, Jenny Rowell and husband Keith of Longview; five grandchildren, Amanda McCary, Savannah Hayes, Megan Rowell, Morgan Rowell, Glen Rowell; and two great-grandchildren, Keelyn McCary and Peyton Fry.

Visitation for Mr. Turk will be held at Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 from 6 - 8 PM.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM on Thursday, January 26, 2012 at Beaty Funeral Home with Mr. Ryan McCary officiating.

The family requests memorials in lieu of flowers be made to Margaret's House/Beacon's Hospice, 5016 Gilmer Rd. Longview, 75604.
