Wena Bill Powell

Wena "Winnie" Bill Powell, age 82, died Monday, August 16, 2010 Mineola, Texas. She was born on Thursday, February 9, 1928 to the late Elbert and Laura Foster in Edgewood, Texas. Formerly of Dallas and Mesquite, Texas, she had lived in Mineola, Texas since 1985.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Eugene Powell; a sister, Jo Ann Wells; children, Sondra Clifton, Michael Powell, Jason Powell, Amy Posey; eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, one great great-grandchild; niece Patty Harris and nephew Greg Morris, and numerous other nieces and nephews.

The family requests memorials, in lieu of flowers, be made to Heart to Heart Hospice, 1402 Rice Rd., Ste. 100, Tyler, Texas 75703.
