Wendell Wayne Salsman

February 21, 1935 — May 23, 2022

Wendell Wayne Salsman of Mineola Texas left this world to be with the Lord on May 23rd, 2022.
Wendell was born in Danville Indiana on February 21st, 1935.
He was the son of Vasil Salsman and Viola Bradley.
Wendell was survived by his wife Marilyn and son Jim Salsman and granddaughter Laura Liu.
He graduated from Amo High school in 1953 and went on to get his master's degree at Indiana State University in Terre Haute Indiana, graduating on June 6th, 1965.
After high school Wendel joined the army as a paratrooper in the 82nd airborne.
Wendell was employed after the army by the Department of Defense Dependents School and traveled the world in this role.
His memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church of Gresham on Saturday, June 4th at 11am where he was a member. The church is located at 16844 County Rd 165, Tyler, TX 75703.
Pastors Andrew Douglas and Ted Winton will be officiating.
Wendell was baptized and faithfully attended church and was a member at FBC Gresham in Tyler Texas.
