Wilda Janie Steele
November 30, 1918 — June 5, 2008
Wilda Steele, age 89, of Mineola, Texas, died Thursday, June 5, 2008, at Wood Memorial Nursing Home in Mineola, Texas She was a member of First Christian Church. She was also a member of American Legion and many church groups.
She is survived by her husband John Steele; one daughter, Billie (Steele) Riley of Mineola, Texas; two sons, James Steele of Mineola, Texas, Bobby Steele and partner Ron Johnston of Pittsburg, Pa. ; one grandson and four great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Meals on Wheels or Bluebonnet Hospice.
