Willard “Woody” Roy Drake, Jr. 55, of Mineola, TX passed away on Monday, November 2, 2015 in Mineola, TX. He was born on Wednesday, March 23, 1960 in Dallas, TX.

Willard was a member of Holy Ghost Central Church.

He is preceded in death by his mother Alice and grandparents.

He is survived by his father, Roy Drake, Sr. and wife Jean from Golden, TX; wife, Stephanie Drake from Golden, TX; two sons, Roy Drake III from Golden, TX, Michael Surface and wife Megan from Waldorf, MD; five daughters, Shelly Adley and husband Michael from Royce City, TX, Jennifer Drake and husband Mandrell Ashworth from Terrell, TX, Chrystal Vaughn from Fort Worth, TX, Brittany Drake and husband Marshal Melton from Grand Saline, TX and Brandy Drake from Golden, TX; brothers, Donnie Drake and Lisa Sanders from Golden, TX, Darren Fishback from Forney, TX; four sisters, Christi Drake from Golden, TX and Christina Drake from Golden, TX, Cindy Fishback from Crandall, TX and Reginda Walker from Crandall, TX; fourteen grandchildren, Alyssa, Jace, Drake, Terrell, Ashley, Jaelyn, Jacey, Cayden, Evan, Cameren, Bryan, Brandon, Molly and Leah; twenty one nieces and nephews; best friends, Al Jordan, Mike Milton and Doug Johnson.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 6, 2015 from 6-8 PM at Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola, TX. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola, TX officiated by Rick Childress. Interment will follow at Pilgrim Rest #2 in Golden, TX. Donations to the family can be made at Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola.
