William Crayton Adams

Funeral services for William Crayton Adams, 88, of Hawkins are scheduled for 10 a.m., Tuesday, April 22, 2008 at Beaty Funeral Home Chapel in Hawkins with Rev. Don Majors officiating. Burial will be in Hawkins Cemetery under the direction of Beaty Funeral Home. Mr. Adams died April 17, 2008, in Mineola. Born February 12, 1920 in Clifton, Arizona, Mr. Adams lived in Hawkins for 8 years after moving there from Dallas, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Velmalene Hunter Adams.

Mr. Adams was survived by, sister-in-law, Gettie Ingram of Midland, TX; brother-in-law, Bill Ingram, of Midland, TX; nephews, Britt Ingram of Jupiter, FL, Dr. Walter Ingram, of Atlanta, GA, Dr. Ronald Ingram, of Midland, TX and John Ingram, of Houston, TX.
