William Gay Fowler

Mr. William Gay Fowler of Van, Texas passed away April 13, 2007 at the age of 94. He was born April 13, 1913 in Van Zandt County to the late Oscar W. Fowler and Lila (Stewart) Fowler. He is retired from Morton Salt Company in Grand Saline and loved to fish. He is preceded in death by two brother, Forrest and Hulen Fowler; one sister, Clota McPherson; grandchild, Clint Dunn; and two great grandchildren, Ronnie Moreland, Jr. and Brandy Woodrum. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ollie Inez Fowler of Van, Texas; four daughters, Shirley Moreland and husband Clyde of Grand Saline, Texas, Barby Dagnel of Tyler, Texas, Frances Dunn and husband Donald of Dallas, Texas, and Sandy Petty and husband Phil of Dallas, Texas; one step-son, Raymond Magers and wife Marie of Van, Texas; eight grandchildren, Ronnie Moreland, Kim and Jesse Woodrum, Bobby and Patti Dagnel, Barry Dagnel, Cherie and Rick Cowart, Wendy and Lynn Breeland, James Magers, and Brandley Magers; twelve great grandchildren, Brandon Moreland, Amanda Moreland, Shane Woodrum, Courtney and Hunter Dagnel, Caitlyn, Connor and Colton Cowart, Cory Allen, Felicia, Brittney, and Tusa Magers; and great great grandchild, Jaycee Whitehead.
