William L. Hargis

Mr. William L. Hargis, age 86 of Scroggins, passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2011. He was born in Winnsboro on January 16, 1925 to the late William F. and Frances Jacob Hargis. He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, and two grandchildren, Joy Hargis, and Danny Hargis. He is survived by two sons, William J. Hargis of Winnsboro, David Hargis of Rowlett; one daughter, Helen Hargis of Denver, CO.; four sisters, Mae Stout of Perryville, Christine Oliver of Tyler, Imogene Boyd and husband Jack of Scroggins, June Walton of Whitehouse; and five great-grandchildren.
