William Edward Long

William Edward Long, 60, of Quitman, TX died Wednesday, December 5, 2013 in Tyler, TX. He was born on Wednesday, July 29, 1953 in Great Falls, MT to Norman and Shirley Long. Mr. Long was a veteran of the US Air Force. He was a member of the NRA, served with Toys for Tots, served with Caring and Sharing, member of the Winnsboro Gun Club. Mr. Long was a passionate Harley Davidson rider, and a very talented musician.

He is preceded in death by his wife Linda Long and step son Dennis Wiley.

He is survived by his parents, Norman and Shirley Long of Whitehouse, TX; two sons, Crockett Long of Dallas, TX, Jason and wife Amanda of Tyler, TX; 3 step-sons, David Wiley and wife Stephanie of Mineola, Doug Wiley and wife Lorelei of Longview, Duane Wiley and wife Amy of Mineola, TX; step daughter, Karla Wilson and husband Ronnie of Sweeney, TX; brother, Donald Long of Whitehouse, TX; sister, Bobbie Persinger and husband David of Whitehouse, TX; seventeen grandchildren and one great grandchild.
