William H. Mcdonald

William H. "Bill" McDonald, Sr. passed away, Monday, February 11, 2008 at the age of 90. He was born in Hopkins County on January 27, 2008 to the late William R. and Dollie Belle Allen McDonald. He was a retired Senior Master Sergeant for the United States Air Force, having served in World War II and Korea. He was a 32nd Degree Master Mason, Past Master and member of Staked Plains Masonic Lodge # 598 in Big Spring, Texas; member of Suez Temple in San Angelo; member of Waco Scottish Rite Bodies; Member of the Gus Garrison Masonic Lodge of Winnsboro; and the Order of The Eastern Star in Winnsboro. He voluntered over 5000 hours at Presbyterian Hospital of Winnsboro, and was a member of Caney Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Cecile McDonald in 1989; one son, Robert M. McDonald in 1987; one brother, Robert McDonald. He is survived by his wife, Eileen McDonald of Winnsboro; one son, William McDonald, Jr. of Winnsboro; two daughters, Barbara Burt of Richardson, Judith K. Wood of Blytheville, Arkansas; and one sister, Mauveline Greenbaum of Houston.
