William Lawrence Patterson

Mr. William "Will" Patterson, age 18 of Scroggins, passed away on Friday, August 19th, 2016 in Notrees, TX. He was born on December 1st, 1997 in Montrose, CO, to Harold Patterson and Emily Williams Basham. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Milton and Louise Patterson. Will attended the Mt. Vernon High School and the Grace Christian Academy. He later attended the Welding School at the Lake Monticello Power Plant and was a member of Clearwater Baptist Church. Will worked for Red 16 Construction Company Highway Construction and was preceded in death by a half-brother, Robbie Williams. He is survived by his father, Harold E. Patterson and wife Katherine of Scroggins; mother, Emily Ann Basham of Pittsburg; brothers, Bo Patterson and wife Ashley of Gladewater, Jeffrey Galloway and wife LaDonna of Winnsboro, James Brightwell, Jr. of Gladewater; sisters, Erin Smith and husband Moses of Delta, CO, Sherry Sparacino and husband A.J. of Kilgore, Candace Sheets and husband Kirby of Kilgore; grandparents, Robert and Marilyn Williams of Montrose, CO. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 24th, 2016 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Beaty Funeral Home-Winnsboro. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, August 25th, 2016 at First Baptist Church of Winnsboro at 2:00 pm with Dr. David Rose, Bro. Bo Patterson and Bro. Larry Glossip conducting. Interment will follow at Bethel Cemetery in Scroggins, with Christopher Basham, Braden Halley, Thomas Moss, Mike D. Millsap, Jason Sparacino and Mike Sparacino serving as pallbearers.
