William Michael Webb

William Michael (Mike) Webb, born November 11, 1942 to William Thomas Jr. and Virginia Irene Webb of Midland Texas passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones at his home in Hawkins Texas on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at the age of 77. After serving in the National Guard, he started his career in Midland Texas working for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company, later transferring to Dallas where he continued his career until retiring after 40 years of dedicated service. After retiring, he relocated to Hawkins Texas to enjoy beautiful East Texas living. He enjoyed working around this property, remodeling his retirement home, spending time with friends and family and of course frequent trips to the casinos where he would play endless hours of poker. Between casino runs, you most often would find him attending or hosting a local poker game around the Holly Lake and Hawkins area where he never met a stranger, always engaging people and ready to tell a funny story. He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years Barbara Ann, sister Patricia Louise Crumpton, husband Morris, son Michael T. Webb, stepchildren Jeffrey W. Moreno, wife Kelly, Carlos R. Moreno, Rhonda L. Moreno and his beloved granddaughter Kelsey J. Moreno, husband Justin. Other family members include sister-in-law Donna Webb and a host of loving nieces, nephews. Preceded in death by his parents William Thomas Jr., Virginia Irene Webb and brother, Thomas Edward Webb. At this time, no public service or memorials are being held, we ask that any memorial donations be made in Mike’s name to the ASPCA or charity of your choice.
