Willis Don Nowell

Willis Don Nowell, known affectionately as Don to family and friends, entered into the kingdom of Heaven on September 24, 2020. Mr. Nowell was born on April 11, 1947 in Ft. Worth, Texas to John and Bessie (Chamberlain) Nowell who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by brother John Nowell, Jr. Don is survived by his wife Irene (Cirkosz) Nowell; daughter Tracy Messing (Shane); stepdaughter Paula Taylor and stepson Robert Poynter; grandchildren Matthew Messing and Morgan Messing; step-grandchildren Cody Taylor, Courtney Taylor, Alex Poynter and Tyler Poynter; sisters Loretta Carrol and Betty Hammons; brothers Charles Nowell and Johnny Nowell. Mr. Nowell worked as a building equipment supervisor for the US Postal Service. He and Irene were members of the Winnsboro Church of Christ. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Beaty Funeral Home.
