Wilmur Kenneth Mccann

Wilmor Kenneth McCann, Jr., age 77, died Thursday, December 30, 2010 in Tyler, Texas. He was born on Wednesday, June 7th, 1933 in Shreveport, Louisiana to the late Wilmor and Maggie McCann. He lived in Mineola, Texas since 1961. He worked at Thorn Hill Landscaping and Mallory LP Gas before working at Mineola ISD where he worked for 19 years. He served in the U.S. Navy and was a member of East Chapel CME Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Uridell McCann and Leroy McCann; two sisters, Charlie McCann Guy and Octavia McCann Tyler.

He is survived by his wife of forty-nine years, Lena Fay McCann of Mineola; two sons, Myron Keith McCann of Chandler, Texas and Derick Wayne McCann of Mineola; two daughters, Kathie Durley of Riverside, California and Brenda James of Mineola; four brothers, Ardis McCann of San Francisco, California, Lavorn McCann of Mineola, Edward McCann of Tyler and Roy McCann of Shreveport; two sisters, Resia M. King of Shreveport and Kate L. James of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
